Amended Packing List for Camp 08

As requested the updated version of the packing list for this year's annual camp is being posted up. It is as follows:

ESSENTIALS (MUST HAVE)
  1. PE T-shirts (ONLY CHS, not house tee) ---> 3
  2. Corps T-shirt (To be worn on 3rd day, so please make sure you get one from SGT Jordan before Camp) ---> 1
  3. Plain T-shirts (Pure white with only small prints or SJAB related eg. Zone Tee) --- >2
  4. PE shorts --->3
  5. Pure black/dark blue shorts ---> 2
  6. SJAB name tag ---> 1
  7. Track Pants ---> 1 pair
  8. Underwear ---> 5 pairs
  9. School Shoes/ Sports Shoes ---> 1 pair
  10. Slippers/Sandals ---> 1 pair
  11. Towels ---> 2
  12. Socks ---> 4 pairs
  13. Fork (metal), spoon (metal), plate (plastic) ---> 1 set (LABELLED)
  14. SAF GREEN MUG ---> 1
  15. Powder/Talc ---> 1
  16. Bathing Kit (Shower Gel; Shampoo etc) ---> 1 set
  17. Cleaning Kit (Toothpaste; Toothbrush etc) ---> 1 set
  18. Toilet Paper ---> 1 roll
  19. Stationary and Notebook ---> 1 set
  20. Student Pass ---> 1
  21. Poncho ---> 1
  22. Ground Sheet ---> 1
  23. Small pieces of rags ---> 2
  24. Sleeping Bag ---> 1
  25. Torchlight (at least 'C' size batteries) --->1 (with extra batteries)
  26. Extra Backpack ---> 1
  27. Water Bottle (at least 1.5L ICE MOUNTAIN) ---> 2 (LABELLED)
  28. Windbreaker; Sweater --> 1

MISCELLANEOUS
  1. Medication/ Prescription (as required by individual eg. Inhaler etc)
  2. Spare spectacles/ Contact Lens
  3. Spectacles band / Spectacles hooks

OPTIONAL
  1. Insect Repellant ---> 1

If there's any item that you are unsure of the place to purchase them, do approach any of the NCOs or your fellow cadets.

KSJ Postponed (Plus extra class for all taking the test)

The KSJ exam, which was supposed to be held on the 1st Novmber 08 (Saturday), will be postponed to 9th November 08 (Sunday).

Time (Start of exam): 9am
Venue: SJAB HQ
Reporting time: 8.45am at Lavender MRT station, if you guys are meeting up. If not, come to HQ on time by yourself.
Things to bring: Writing materials.

Camp Packing List

Wednesday, 29th October 08 Training

To all cadets, please note that there will be an OFFICIAL training this Wednesday in school.

Attire: Full uniform; PT kit
Time and venue: 1.30pm to 5.30pm, track

Schedule is as follows:

1.30p;m - 2.00pm: Fall in/attendence taking (SGT Desmond & SGT Goh)

2.00pm - 4.00pm: Drills for FDC contingent (FD Dept)
2.00pm - 4.00pm: Drills (Year Ones)

4.00pm - 5.00pm: PT session for all (PTI)

5.00pm - 5.30pm: Debrief/Dismissal (Officers; Teachers-in-charge; NCOs)

Note:
  1. The subsequent holiday training dates will be put up over the next few days. Please check.
  2. Those who have not paid for the corps tee, bring the $$$ on Wednesday. (The shirt is needed for Camp'08)

Fall in: 2.45pm at track


2.45pm - 3.15pm: Opening parade

3.15pm - 4.30pm: AFA lesson for Year Twos
3.15pm - 4.15pm: KSJ lesson Year Ones

4.15pm - 4.30pm: Break for Year Ones

4.30pm - 5.00pm: Admin/ Collection of $/ Debrief/ Closing Parade

NOTE:
  1. Tmr's training will end at 5.00pm.
  2. PLEASE BRING $20 tmr for collection. This is for the ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP 08. For those who have yet to pay for the corps tee, please bring an additional amount of $10.
  3. Consent forms for ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP are to be signed and returned during training.
